Diversity in T-shirt printing

There are many T-shirt printing in the market and some of the T-shirt printing on only the most common of them, the screen printing process. Some others are the heat transfer method, the digital or DTG method, and the vinyl method. Of course it can never be a perfect technology, which can each cover.

Each method can be used to printed tops, printed t-shirts, hoodies printed or make printed sweatshirts.

Each method can be used for large bulk orders such as orders for advertising clothing or work wear company. But make no mistake. Although each method can be used for each of these possibilities, these methods are not the same.

Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Each method can give you more of something, and give you less of something.

There are certain niches, to which each method is best used to. This article describes some of the positive points and some of the negative points of the screen printing process, the heat transfer method, the digital or DTG method, and the vinyl method. So if you're on T-shirt print shop or you want to have a T-shirt or some T-shirts will be printed if you are planning or just curious, then read on.

T-shirt printing

There are different kinds of T-shirt printing strategies. As we have already said, there are several advantages and disadvantages of each method. And we will discuss now, is up first the screen printing process.

The silkscreen process is probably the most common form of printing for T-shirts. The prints that it produces are very durable and long lasting. This kind of pressure ensures a very high print quality and is the most economical in terms of price and quality ratio. But of course there are some shortcomings. The silkscreen process is very limited when it comes to color. It is also very limited when it comes to the size of the graphics and install very tedious. Then there is the method or the DTG Direct to Garment method. This method is much easier to make because it involves fewer steps and the setup process is very fast. The print on this method are also very easy to adapt. The problem with this type of method is that the T-shirt is the brightest aspect of graphic design. This is why good prints are hard to do on dark colored T-shirts. Then there is the vinyl printing. The vinyl-printing method is really good for a little walk. But real, long legs do not fit this t-shirt printing process, because it would not be practical. It also has limited detail.
